Sermon from January 10th

Jesus Came to Save Sinners

Mark 2: 13 -17

1. Levi walked away from a job that paid very good money in order to become a follower of Jesus.
2. The next thing he did was invite his worldly friends to come and meet Jesus.
3. God had placed Levi where he was so he could reach his friends and use his skills.
4. Jesus went to Levi's house, even though it hurt his reputation among the religious people.
5. We should be more concerned about what God thinks than what other people think.
6. The church should be a hospital for sinners, not a haven for saints.

"Thelema",

Having perused your blog, I see you are railing against Christendom, not necessarily Christianity.

I offer that you should come to terms with the claims of Christ and how be backed up those claims, i.e. his fulfillment of prophecy, sinless life, miracles, death, and resurrection.

Sincerely,

Kevin H

93 Kevin - I appreciate you taking the time to appreciate the subtle message. Most people just knee-jerk and think I am saying God is dead! I appreciate the encouragement though I encourage you to find yourself God's child, your will an expression of His, and you become full of his joy, sinless, and everlasting. love is the law, love under will.

Thelema,

Again, who Jesus is, is the issue.

If you would like to discuss his identity and claims, let's please do so here.

Looking forward to it!

Kevin
